Woman Of The Wise - The Sacred Hustle (Week 4)

WEEK 4

Welcome Women of The Wise Week 4.

This week were going to reflect on self-care, Taking care of our body’s, Lovingly, through dry brushing and self-massage with raw sesame seed oil.

For the next 7 days; Lets set an intention to create a 10-minute morning practice.

Start with a full body dry brush massage. This will stimulate your blood circulation, and clean the lymphatic system, reducing the appearance of cellulite, eliminating dead skin, and rejuvenating the nervous system.

Dry Brushing is another ayurvedic technique involving the motion and map of the body to motion your brush. Here is some more in-depth information on the benefits of dry brushing:

This only will take about 3-5 minutes.

Following the dry brush full body massage; Warm up some raw sesame seed oil, I do this before I head to the bathroom so it’s a smooth morning ritual.

Warm the Oil. Transfer the sesame oil into a squeeze bottle, then place the bottle into a pot of warm water until it has reached the desired warmth. Test the oil before using it to make sure it is not too hot.

Using raw sesame seed oil is an ayurvedic technique that I find to be a beautiful way to send a loving message of calm and self-love to yourself.

Starting at the feet and working your way up; massaging the warm oil into your body for about 5 minutes.

After this 5-minute massage you can have a hot rinse off in the shower. Don’t use soap!

This process will help detoxify and at the same time leave your body feeling loved and hydrated!
